We have yet to have a bad meal here. No matter what we order the food is always fresh and delicious! The perfect dive bar atmosphere with tons of laughs and sarcasm to be had! Best bartenders around! We drive from the west side to come!
*Updated after going again.* Stopped in and tried a few things off the food menu and was Very happy . Had their Trash plate and it was really good., the meat sauce actually had a little spice to it which I prefer. The Boneless wings were big... These aren't your typical popcorn chicken looking nuggets.. the sauce was very good.. Had some Great conversations in there it isn't too loud. Pretty good prices as well, definitely worth trying! I have also since had the Jalapeno popper pretzel and that thing is ridiculously good. I was pleasantly surprised by the Pizza for 10 bucks it's a very good size for one or two to share and the taste and quality was so much better than I was expecting for a "bar" pizza.. everything I've eaten has been excellent.!
I've been here twice now (on a Sunday) and have had their wings. The wings were fantastic. The bar fills in, so you might have a challenge finding a seat when they are really busy. They are cash only and there is an ATM on site. Glad to have them in the Village and hope to visit many more times in the future.
I just want to give a huge shout-out to The Main Dive in Webster. My husband and I brought our two small kids to the holiday lights parade, and the owner, Justin, was out on the sidewalk handing out hot cocoa, ornament kits for the kids, sweet Chex mix, and even adult spiked eggnog and hot chocolates. He was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Later, when our kids got cold and hungry, we went into the restaurant (not a place we’d normally bring kids), and Justin immediately noticed they needed a little extra attention. He brought them cookies, a Jenga game, and made them feel so comfortable without us even asking. He truly saved the night. The food was delicious, came out quickly, and despite the crowd, we were never rushed or made to feel out of place. Just great service and great people. We will definitely be back for drinks and more food soon. Thank you for going above and beyond — you are incredibly intuitive and truly know how to do business.
We frequent the Main Dive often and love Angel and the food of course but they went above and beyond when they let us host a 50th Birthday party this past weekend. Even with it being a Friday night and were busy with customers they were able to save us a space and let us decorate! The food came out quick and was delicious, no one lacked for a drink, we were able to use TouchTunes for our music. Angel checked on us frequently and even with our large party the regular customers didnt seem ever ignored. Thank you Angel, Justin, and Brittney for everything! Cristina had a fabulous 50th!
Let me just say, this place should be a regular hangout for people in the area. It’s a great local spot, and the staff is always awesome. They’re friendly, caring, and genuinely interested in their customers. Everyone from the bartenders, like Brittany, Angel, and Angela, to the kitchen staff, is top-notch. The food is always solid. You can eat in or take out, and both options are great. The fish fry on Fridays is one of the best in town, as are the garbage plates. Not to mention the homemade French onion dip, which is a must-try. The crowd is always super friendly, and if there are any idiots, the staff knows how to handle them professionally. It’s one of the few places where you can always feel safe to go.
Tried this place last night for the first time after being dazzled by their social media presence and it did not disappoint! Angel our bartender made us feel so welcome and she was amazing at her job. Food was served piping hot and was absolutely delicious! I ordered the boneless wings and these were the biggest ones I’ve ever seen! Definitely will be back!
